Pennsylvania state notary fees are charged separately from mobile service fees, travel fees, convenience fees, printing fees, scanback fees, witness fees, shipping fees, administrative fees, and emergency appointment fees.

Mobile Notary Fees in Philadelphia
The minimum mobile notary service fee is $60. This fee may vary based on travel distance, appointment location, parking, urgency, number of signers, document type, printing needs, scanback requirements, and whether witnesses are needed.

Estate Planning, Power of Attorney, and Property Document Fees
Estate planning and property-related appointments require additional time, preparation, identification review, signing coordination, and careful notarial completion.
Documents in this category may include Power of Attorney, Last Will and Testament, Healthcare Directive, Living Will, Trust documents, Quit Claim Deed, Warranty Deed, real estate documents, seller packages, refinance packages, HELOC documents, mortgage documents, and other property transfer documents.
Minimum fee for mortgage, estate planning, Power of Attorney, and property-related documents: $150 plus Pennsylvania state notary fees.
Hospital, Nursing Home, and Emergency Notary Fees
Hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation center, assisted living, and emergency notary appointments may require travel, parking, facility check-in, bedside coordination, family communication, witness coordination, and additional time to confirm signer awareness and willingness.
Same-day, rush, after-hours, weekend, Sunday, and holiday appointments may include an additional expedited service fee when available.
Loan Signing and Real Estate Notary Fees
Loan signing and real estate appointments may include document printing, borrower identification, signing table coordination, completion of notarial certificates, scanbacks, and shipping preparation through FedEx or UPS when required by the title company, lender, attorney, or signing service.
Final pricing depends on the number of pages, number of signers, travel location, scanback requirements, shipping instructions, and appointment urgency.
Remote Online Notary and IPEN Pricing
Arlene Mobile Notary Services also provides Remote Online Notary and In-Person Electronic Notary services when appropriate. Remote Online Notary sessions require identity verification, approved technology, signer participation by audio-video communication, and proper electronic notarial completion.
Pricing may vary based on platform requirements, number of signers, document type, identity verification, and session complexity.
Identification Required for Every Notary Appointment
All signers must personally appear before the notary and present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification. A photocopy, screenshot, picture, or digital image of identification is not acceptable.
If a signer does not have acceptable identification, two credible witnesses may be required when permitted. Witnesses must personally appear, present valid identification, and meet Pennsylvania notary requirements.
When a Notarization
Cannot Be Completed
If a notarization cannot be completed for reasons beyond the Notary Public’s control, and through no fault of the Notary, a $60 travel/appointment fee will still apply. Common reasons include expired, invalid, or missing identification; incomplete or incorrect documents; signer incapacity; an unwilling signer; missing required witnesses; blank documents; inability to communicate directly with the signer; or unclear or improper notarial instructions.

Payment may be accepted by Cash, Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay.
An itemized receipt can be provided for notary services, travel fees, printing, scanbacks, witness coordination, and Pennsylvania state notary fees.
